The 6 L, 10 L, 15 L and 25 L models share the main Finesse technologies while differing primarily in storage capacity, dimensions, weight and heating time.

Experience Smart Modes

A key feature of the A.O. Smith Finesse series is its Smart Modes. These modes help users customise hot-water heating according to the intended activity rather than relying on a single setting for every requirement.

The manufacturer illustrates Smart Modes for activities including shower, bucket, pedicure, washing and mopping, making the controls practical for different everyday hot-water needs.

Blue Diamond® Glass-Lined Tank

The Finesse series uses A.O. Smith's Blue Diamond® glass-lined inner tank. This tank technology is designed to provide longer life even in tough water conditions.

The protective lining forms an important part of the internal tank construction and helps support dependable long-term storage water-heater performance.

Glass-Coated Incoloy Heating Element

Finesse incorporates a glass-coated Incoloy heating element designed for long-lasting heating performance. The official specifications list 2000 W power across all four capacity options.

This common heating specification provides a consistent core heating system throughout the Finesse range while heating times vary according to tank capacity.

Long-Lasting Anode Rod

The water heater also uses a long-lasting anode rod for additional tank protection. A.O. Smith states that this anode rod offers twice the lifespan of a normal magnesium anode, including in hard-water conditions.

Together with the Blue Diamond® glass-lined tank, the anode rod forms part of the Finesse system designed to protect the water heater's internal tank.

8 Bar Rated Water Pressure

All Finesse models are specified for a rated water pressure of 8 bar. This provides a common pressure specification across the 6 L, 10 L, 15 L and 25 L variants.

The actual installation should always follow A.O. Smith's installation instructions and be compatible with the plumbing and water-pressure conditions at the property.

Double Protection for Safer Operation

A.O. Smith equips the Finesse range with a thermal cut-out and safety valve as part of its protection system.

• Thermal Cut-Out: Provides an additional temperature-related safety mechanism.
• Safety Valve: Provides protection associated with pressure inside the water-heating system.

Adjustable Water Temperature

The official Finesse user manual specifies a temperature range of 25°C to 75°C. This allows the water temperature to be adjusted according to the required usage.

A.O. Smith notes that the maximum set temperature may vary by approximately ±5°C.
